Camp Information and Regulations 2026
Terms And Conditions
- I wish to attend and participate in the Grey Nomads 2026 Camp. I acknowledge that there are risks involved (injury, loss or damage) and choose to participate on this understanding knowing that all reasonable care will be taken to avoid such. I acknowledge that the NNSW SDA Conference is not responsible for the loss or theft of my personal property.
- I give the Grey Nomads official photographer and his/her assistants, permission to use and publish photographs of me, and those included in this form, for editorial, trade, advertising and any other purpose, unless the organisation has been notified in writing of any legal or safety reasons.
- The information contained in this form is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. Furthermore, I agree to refrain from any behaviour that may be detrimental to any attendee (child, youth, staff or other participants) and commit to live by the values of the Seventh-day Adventist Church during my time the Grey Nomads Camp. I recognise that not adhering to this disqualifies my participation at Grey Nomads Camp and I may be asked to leave.
- Cancellations made after 18th April will be charged 50% of the full registration cost. Cancellations can be made by emailing events@bluevineyard.com. Otherwise payment may be forfeited.
Camp Regulations
Camping courtesy
- Dogs are welcomed at Grey Nomads Camps provided they are trained, fully controlled and cared for by their owners.
- We ask that you obey the following site requirements:
- Stay within your clearly marked lines! There MUST be a clear 1.25m from the boundary of your private sites, and at least 2.5m between accommodations. For caravans, please refer to the diagram that you will receive upon arrival. If you camp in the wrong area, you will be moved.
- Gazebos are only to be set up in front of your tent. NO gazebos, tents, cars etc are to be in the fire egress areas.
- Tarpaulins are not to be across more than one site. This means you cannot join two sites with a tarpaulin.
- Tents set up behind caravans need to be fully within your site boundary they must not overflow into any public area.
- The maximum number of occupants per site is 8 people.
- No alcohol, tobacco and drugs are allowed on the campsite. The following consequences apply:
- Offenders will forfeit their rights to be on the grounds.
- If it is found that alcohol, tobacco or illicit drugs are being consumed at a particular campsite, all occupants of that site will be required to vacate and forfeit all rights to the site and will not be allowed to use the site again for the duration of Camp.
- All site allocations determined by the Committee and are final.
- We want every one to have a good time and allocations are made with that in mind.
Camp transport
- Movement and parking of vehicles
- Authorised vehicle entry to grounds will be between 6am and 10pm.
- Only ONE vehicle per site is permitted; any additional vehicles must be parked in the car park.
- Always observe the SPEED LIMIT of 10kph. Failure to do so will result in the vehicle being banned from the grounds.
- Park cars in designated car parks only.
Housekeeping
- Upon arriving, everyone must report to Registration to receive their site allocation and registration details.
Misc camp rules
- Camp Regulations
- No one may sleep on the grounds unless they are a registered camper.
- Modest attire is to be worn in all public settings.
- Loud and offensive language is not accepted or tolerated.
- Noise levels are not to disturb other campers.
- Water Balloons – are not permitted within the Yarra Holiday Park.
- Valuables should be cared for and not left in tents or caravans unattended.
- Given that a large number of people form the Grey Nomads community, it is important that each camper shows respect for their fellow campers. This is demonstrated by limiting noise after 10pm and creating no noise after 11pm. This will be monitored by the Big Camp Security Team.
- Out of courtesy all mobile phones should be turned off or placed on silent during the meetings.
